Evaluation of joint studies by the PKA in accordance with the European Approach

The Polish Accreditation Committee conducts evaluations of joint programmes in accordance with the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes. These evaluations are carried out on the basis of procedures developed within the IMPEA project, which ensures their compliance with European standards and the transparency of the evaluation process.

The Polish Accreditation Committee conducts evaluations of joint programmes offered at Polish higher education institutions acting as coordinating institutions within international consortia.

In preparation for the evaluation of joint programmes by the Polish Accreditation Committee, we encourage you to consult the materials (in English) available on the IMPEA project website:

The IMPEA project (“Implementation of the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes”) was established to support higher education institutions and accreditation agencies in implementing the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes.

The website provides, among others:

  • information on the project’s objectives and partner institutions,
  • explanations regarding the practical application of the European Approach,
  • materials and guidelines for higher education institutions preparing joint programmes,
  • good practices and tools supporting the preparation of documentation for quality evaluation.

We encourage you to make use of these resources – they will help institutions properly prepare joint programmes for evaluation by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA), in line with European and national requirements.
