On June 13th, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education hosted the ceremony for awarding the CERTIFICATES OF EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA).
By the decision of the PKA Presidium on February 22, 2024, 26 study programs were distinguished with Certificates of Excellence in Education, having met the criteria outlined in the certification procedure. Representatives of the honored programs received their Certificates from the Chairman of the Committee – Dr. hab. inż. Janusz Uriasz and the Secretary of PKA – Dr. hab. Jakub Brdulak.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education – Dariusz Wieczorek. The head of the science department extended wishes and congratulations to the representatives of the distinguished universities, acknowledging their achievements to date. The Minister also emphasized that the ministry places particular importance on improving the quality of education, considering it a key element in the development of the higher education system in Poland.
The Chairman of the Committee delivered a speech on “Best Practices as the Foundation for Building the Future of Education” and subsequently invited all attendees to a discussion titled: “Best Practices and Certificates of Excellence in Education: The Path to Success and Strengthening the Position of Polish Universities in the Country and Europe.”
