Report on the Activities of the Polish Accreditation Committee in 2024

Dear Sir or Madam,

We encourage you to read the latest publication by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) entitled Report on the Activities of the Polish Accreditation Committee in 2024”.

From the foreword:

A modern approach to education, dynamic changes in the labor market, and the need to adapt study programs to the demands of a knowledge-based economy – these are just some of the areas addressed by the Committee. Its work goes far beyond evaluating study programs – it is primarily about supporting universities in improving the quality of teaching, promoting best practices, and building an academic environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and development.

The new term is a time of intensive work, but also of new opportunities. It is a chance to implement solutions that respond to the growing expectations of students and the labor market while ensuring stability and high standards of education. It is also a continuation of international activities – the Polish Accreditation Committee has long been an active member of European academic quality assurance structures, strengthening the position of Polish higher education in the global education system.

This publication records the Committee’s activities in 2024 – a review of challenges and achievements, as well as a document that reflects how the future of academic Poland is being shaped. Every evaluation, every decision, every conclusion – these are steps toward improving the education system, which is the foundation for the development of science, the economy, and society.
