Dear Colleagues,
We are honoured and delighted to announce that the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) has met the criteria of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Recognition Programme and, by decision of 12 September 2025, has been granted full recognition status until 30 September 2035.
The Certificate awarded is a confirmation of the highest quality standards in the evaluation of medical programmes. For the Polish Accreditation Committee, it constitutes recognition of its credibility and international standing within the system of quality assurance in education. WFME recognition means that the education of medical professionals at institutions accredited by PKA meets the highest and most rigorous international standards.
It should be emphasised that this success is the result of many months of effort by the PKA team, which included a meeting in Poland between representatives of the Committee and the WFME visiting team.
As an agency committed to continuously enhancing the quality of higher education, we are proud that the Committee’s work has been objectively evaluated and acknowledged on the international stage.
