Report on the Activities of the Polish Accreditation Committee in 2025

Dear Sir or Madam,

We invite you to read the Polish Accreditation Committee’s latest publication, titled “Report on the Activities of the Polish Accreditation Committee in 2025.”

From the introduction:

Over the past year, the PKA actively participated in the development of key systemic solutions, including work on the implementation of comprehensive evaluation and the strategy for the development of higher education. At the same time, the Committee carried out numerous activities related to reviewing applications for the establishment of degree programs, conducting program evaluations, and preparing for the implementation of new accreditation processes—including ex ante program evaluation and comprehensive evaluation. This work was made possible thanks to the commitment of Committee members, experts, secretaries of evaluation teams, and staff of the PKA Office.

The year 2025 also brought a significant strengthening of the PKA’s position on the international stage. Active participation in ENQA, EQAR, CEENQA, GAIN, and numerous expert bodies enabled the Committee to share experiences, co-create European quality standards, and draw on practices used by other accreditation agencies.

Another key element was participation in events of strategic importance for universities and the higher education system, as well as collaboration with public institutions, student organizations, and partners from the socio-economic environment. These efforts were validated by the attainment of WFME accreditation for medical programs.
