Recognising the mutual benefits of enhanced cross-border cooperation, the commissions express their intention to increase mutual trust and promote collaborative activities for the continued development of a shared culture of quality in higher education — a practice that is increasingly used to foster partnership in the context of European and global relations.
On 23 April this year, during the ongoing ENQA Members’ Forum held in Budapest, the Polish Accreditation Committee and the Italian agency ANVUR (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca) confirmed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in the area of quality assurance in higher education within the European Higher Education Area.
The Polish Accreditation Committee was represented by the President of PKA, Dr hab. Janusz Uriasz; the Secretary of PKA, Dr hab. Jakub Brdulak, Professor at SGH; and a representative of the PKA Burreau, Ms Karolina Martyniak. On behalf of ANVUR, the memorandum was presented by Prof. Marilena Maniaci, member of the ANVUR Governing Board responsible for international activities, and Daniele Livon, Director of the ANVUR Office.
