The Chairman of the Polish Accreditation Committee, Rev. Dr. hab. Tadeusz Stanisławski, participated in the meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Schools (KRAUM), which took place on October 12, 2023, in Lidzbark Warmiński. The event was organized by the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
During the meeting, discussions included the new educational standards for medical and dental education, as well as matters related to accreditation by The National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA) and The World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
The Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Schools (KRAUM) was established in 1989 to represent the issues and interests of medical academic institutions to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education. Currently, the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Schools is an autonomous assembly of rectors aimed at strengthening collaboration among its member institutions.
