The President and Secretary of the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) participated in the Quality Assurance Student Experts Pool workshop, focused on quality assurance in education, directed at student and doctoral experts belonging to the European Students’ Union (ESU).
The event took place at the University of Warsaw, where the guests and participants were welcomed by the Rector of UW, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak.
On September 16th, Prof. Janusz Uriasz, gave a lecture titled “The Role of Students in the Quality Assurance Evaluations Conducted by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA),” while Prof. Jakub Brdulak, conducted a workshop titled “Student-Centred Learning – Good Practices in Assessment” (on September 17th).
The European Students’ Union (ESU) is an international organization that brings together 45 student bodies from 40 European countries. In 2009, ESU established the Quality Assurance Students Experts Pool, a team of student experts that has successfully worked to advance higher education and maintain high standards of educational quality.
