The Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education (AKOKVO) is the leading state body for external quality assurance of higher education in Montenegro, established in 2017 by the Law on Higher Education. The main duty of AKOKVO is to manage the process of evaluation and certification of higher education institutions and study programs in accordance with European standards and guidelines for quality assurance (ESG) in the European Higher Education Area.
In the quality assurance process, it publishes a public call for the application of experts from the country and abroad for the list of experts for accreditation of study programs and reaccreditation of higher education institutions, which is open throughout the year (the text of the public call is available at the link: https://akokvo.me/en/public-call-for-application-for-experts-in-2023/.
The list of experts is updated at the end of each quarter and published on the Agency’s website.
