EURASHE announced 24th edition of the annual conference, which this time will be dedicated to qualifications for the labour market. The conference will be organised on 15 – 16 May 2014 jointly by Yerevan State University, Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction supported by Armenian Ministry of Education and Science and Rectors Council of Armenian State Higher Education Institutions.
Employability constitute a guide motif ot the conference – during the first day of the conference attendants will be given a speech focusing on perception of graduates by employers as well as developing relations between higher education institutions and labour market through the skills graduates are expected to have and the role of the higher education institutions in equipping them with those skills. The second keynote speech will be delivered by a representative of Euopean Commission and will be focused on initatives undertaken within the framework of the Europe 2020 Strategy.
The second conference day will be dedicated to practical workshops concerning cooperation between education and business. The focal points of the discussions will be as follows: practical placements, indicators of employment and employability from various data sources, stakeholders' influence on employability of young graduates and learning outcomes as a tool for diversified programmes.
