The Polish Accreditation Committee, in line with its goals set up in the 2012 – 2015 strategy, as well as with recommendations expressed by independent international experts who took part in the external review of the Committee that commenced in late 2013 has organised a training in Cracow designed for a group of international experts of PKA.
The agenda of the meeting covered discussion on the legal framework for quality assessment in Poland, issues related to internationalization of higher education, relation between higher education and labour market, tasks that international experts of PKA are expected to fulfill within programme and institutional assessment procedures, issues related to internal quality assurance systems applied by the higher education institutions as well as assessment of doctoral and post-diploma studies.
These problematic areas were explained in details by members and experts of the Polish Accreditation Committee: prof. dr hab. Danuta Strahl (vice-president of PKA), prof. dr hab. Wiesław Andrzej Kamiński, prof. dr hab. Marek Lisiński, prof. dr hab. Łukasz Sułkowski, dr hab. Mieczysław Socha, dr hab. Krzysztof Szewior.
