President of the Polish Accreditation Committee took part in the conference entitled „Advanced Analytics and Data Science” organised by Szkola Glowna Handlowa in Warsaw on 5 November 2013 r. The event which focused on the value of advanced analytics in business and challenges regarding analytically-focused educational programs was addressed mainly to academics and business representatives.
The agenda of the conference covered wide range of topics including: challenges biostatisticians are faced with, concepts, best practices of advanced analytics in business, application and future directions, Big Data, aspects of statistical thinking, statistical analytics of high – dimensional data, trends and best practices in data quality management, visual data exploration and text analytics, skills development and challenges for education.
