Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee awarded outstanding assessment (Resolution No. 679 / 2013 of 17 October 2013 is available here – Polish version only) to the „Economical Analysis of Law” programme carried out within framework of joint programme „European Master of Law and Economics” by consortium of following 8 higher education institutions: Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Universität Hamburg, Università di Bologna, Universiteit Gent, Université Aix-Marseille, Universität Wien, University of Haifa, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research and Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie. Assessment was conducted by a team of international experts accordingly to the procedure Assessment Framework for Joint Programmes agreed in 2010.
JOQAR project (Joint programmes: Quality Assurance and Recognition of degrees awarded) was launched in order to create a „fit for purpose” procedure for assessing joint programmes. The overall purpose was to provide real alternative for separate national procedures and substitute them with single accreditation procedure (covering also national requirements) as proposed by members of European Consortium for Accreditation (and the Polish Accreditation Committee among them). Such single procedure consisting of – among others – single self-evaluation report, single site-visit and single assessment report was developed to provide common basis for issuing accreditation decision by relevant agencies.
Detailed information on the JOQAR project are available on the website of the European Consortium for Accreditation.
