With reference to previous article published at our site in February 2014 we would like to inform that during Bologna Follow Up Group meeting which took place today the revision of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) was presented.
The organizations responsible for the proposal have sought to make the ESG clearer, particularly in terms of structure and in order to avoid potential confusion with their interpretation. The link between learning and teaching process in the section on internal quality assurance was made more explicit as well as definition of relationship of Quality Assurance with other Bologna Process developments that have taken place since 2005 (including those relating to qualification frameworks and learning outcomes).
The proposition mentioned above (available for readers here) will be discussed during the next Bologna Follow Up Group meeting in April 2014.
